Well what can I write about todays game a very good result but with lessons to be leant we faced a side struggling and low on numbers with not a single substiute to help releave any of the pressure.


I cant single any players out today as everyone played well we started strong quickly and were scoring goals from almost the first whistle. By half time we had scored 9 goals some of them very good strikes with Kyle bagginga  first half hatrick, Ethan bagging a first half brace  along with Sol and goalls for Aaron and Alfie but we also conceeded 2 from allowing them to come at us and loosing concerntration which is understandable in a game like todays.


The second half started a bit slower and it took us time to get going ithink the slow play form penrhyn bay hindered the flow of the game but they are a new young side who are learning all the time,  think the referee was trying to protect his players as much as possible which was why he was asking the Junction lads to allow their keeper time and space.


We did hwoevere start to find the back of the net again with 5 different scorers in the second half, and we tightened up our defence which stopped Penrhyn Bay from adding to there tally form the 1st half which was pleasing. With goals from Aaron, Harley, Alfie, Kyle and 2 for Ethan we took the final score to 15-2.

A great score line and some superbly worked goals, the lads did start to drop their standards near the end and their decision making was begining to be taken over by their desire to score solo goals but that was to be expected due to the scoreline after all they are mostly 7.

All in all a great performance with some great goals well done boys lets keep working hard only 3 games left to play.
