Report

The lads should be extremley proud of themselves after todays performance despite being in a very hostile enviroment with morales that even i must question the boys stuck to their task and worked as a team.

The lads travelled to the infamous banana pitch in order to take on a tough llysfaen team who had held them to a draw at the flyover, The boys were playing some good football when they conceeded in the first half from a corner.

This did not spell the end of the fixture and with some words of advice taken on board at half time the lads  went out with a new found attitude and determination, they all got stuck in and were working hard for each other. With Robbie and Nathan working well in defence and Chris and Sean domintaing the midfield it wasnt long before Chris won the ball in the middle of the park and manged to play Evan in who pounced on a great threw ball to slide the ball past the on rushing keeper.

With the sides cancelling each other out Kieran had little to do but had a much better game with some great distribution from his kicking, the lads had one last push and won a corner which was fired in by Evan Otto and knocked in by Chris Omelia with 20 mins on the clock, with the Llysfaen keeper stopping the ball over his line, i must give credit to the referee who had a great position and didnt hesitate in awarding what was to be the winning goal.

Cai Williams also played his part with some great tackling both in defence and midfield winning balls and playing some great passes.

I dont think im wrong in saying the oppsition manager was a bit upset with the result as he thought his side had done enough to earn at least a draw, see boys with a little belief and team spirit you can and willa chieve good things.

Chris Omelia was awarded man of the match by the opposition so well done Chris, but i must say everyone played there part and put in a great shift, WELL DONE BOYS YOU MADE ME PROUD.
